In this world of complicated grammar and pretentious sentence constructions, I was so lucky to find two simple souls whose lives were written side by side in perfect compliment to each other. They write like the gospel writers, each a different version of an experience yet in perfect harmony without any contradiction to each other.
They were my officemates in company x. I only knew about that when I stumbled upon their blog and, thank you to my photographic memory reflex, recognized our office's roof deck. A comment to a post and an office techy-stalking started a friendship. And like wild fire, almost like an accident, I became their friend and them, mine. (Char char. Drama lang! Haha.)
If there is something I could learn from the vow these guys share, that is happiness can really be found in an absolute and final way. They do not know it, but I really admire them. A lot. Five years and counting, that's a feat.
While sitting in the passenger's seat, I would glare at their backs imagining what a journey they have had and the long road they still have to travel. Deeper within, my mind travels to bigger thoughts, wishing that everyone someday may be able to find their true love's kiss, their soul mate, their ultimate dream, their partner for life or whatever they may call it. And hopefully, in unspeakable oath, unlike those who hold public office today, promise to each other and to God that they will love and have only each other. For richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. Not even death can separate.
