First: American Idol Season 8

I was watching American Idol season 8 Wild card episode live telecast in Star Movies with Te Joji's butler Jun in the dining hall. I was in the edge of my seat the whole show and I was really like crazy crossing fingers that my bets would make it to the final 12. Well, I was doing a multi-tasking thingy while watching. On my phone, I was texting Hannah Jo* and updating her with the results of the judge's decision. Her Qtv connection was switched to news when most of her relatives wanted to watched about the Master Rapper's untimely death. balik balik...ehe. Gee, I love last day's episode. Tatiana repeated "Saving All My Love" for the round. lol. She cried a river when Megan was chosen over her. Well, she only stopped crying when Paula said to her something like ' you have been so great and we enjoyed you here. you are an artist, you can go places blah blah'.

But what made me really shout was when Matt and Anoop Dog were called. Grabe, andami kong kabag nung mga oras na yun. Simon declared that it was Matt who made it to the last seat. I was sooo down Anoop was not chosen. But just before he leave the stage, Simon summoned him and told that they have made a new math for the season. 'Anoop, welcome to top 13.' Whooaah! Galeng. Nakakatuwa si Anoop. Pasok. And take note, first time ito sa tanang kasaysayan ng American Idol. Hahaha. then vainly waiting for Te joji to pick me up to go to Tita Yoly's house, I accompanied Jerb in his dinner. hikab hikab.

Second: Kaleidoscope World

Yeah. I will just consume some more web spaces if I'll gonna write about the demise of Master Rapper. hawevah (coal zehner accent) I think owe him a gratitude for his song Kaleidoscope world. I got to know the song when I was still in second year high when an student teacher na itago na lang natin sa pangalang Mr. Sunnyboy Powder ang nagtanong sa akin kung narinig ko na raw ba yung song na yun sabay suksok ng earphones ng kanyang gargantuan mp3 player sa tenga ko. The first hear of it, shemay kulangot, nakyutan na kagad ako sa tunog. Syempre tangengot pa ako nun sa pick up lalo na sa english, ni-search ko yung lyrics. From then on, the music stays in my mind.

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin' round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world... blah blah black sheep.3

I didn't sing the song for quite a time.

Maski nagtitipid ako, bumili ako nung blue flip na may white outline sa gilid. marami ng nagtangkang nakawin at arborin yung shirt ko pero di nila nagawa. di ko talaga alam kung anong meron sa akin nun at binili ko yun. but now i wear that as a sign that i belong to a nation so great. so colorful. so kaleidoscope.

drool drool...sail on

kudos, makatang musikero!
